Sugarkist was officially born in the summer of 2007 with a pie stand at the Logan Square Farmer’s Market.

Their goal is to raise the highest quality certified organic crops to create a simple and consistent line of products. By paying attention to varieties, growing conditions, and the recipes/methods being developed, their goal is to make products that can't be found at any price, anywhere else.

Treat Restaurant

Treat Restaurant is an oasis for Humboldt Park and Logan Square diners. Serving seasonal Nouvelle Indian cuisine.

Videnovich Farms

The family farm has been growing produce for friends and family in Chicago who have limited growing space. Videnovich Farms has also been offering a CSA ("Community Supported Agriculture") since 2005 in the form of "subscription farming." Members are able to purchase weekly boxes of seasonal, quality vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. Videnovich Farms grows with old world methods using minimal pesticides and labor-intensive hand weeding instead of chemical herbicides. The small flock of sheep produces a great source of fertilizer as well as the multiple compost piles that contribute to our attempts to create zero-waste (blame it on our frugal mentality).

Zullo's

Doughnuts that are made with mostly local and organic ingredients.
