Dear community,

For over 15 years, the Logan Square Farmers Market has been your connection to fresh foods from local farmers and producers. Last week, we announced the opening of our 2020 Outdoor Season, kicking off this Sunday, May 10th. This is exciting news however this market season will be our most challenging yet and we need your help.

For the first two months, our focus is our community of farmers who rely on their direct sales at markets. In order to produce the market comfortably and safely for all, we rolled out a new list of guidelines. Additional safety measures have increased our operational costs while our income has plummeted. We are asking you to make a donation to sustain the market for another year.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 before our opening season kicks off. Please consider a gift of $10, $25 or $50 today.

This time has shown how our survival is dependent on the strength of our local food system. Your donation will allow us to see another year of gracing the boulevards with fresh, local food and sustaining the livelihood of farmers. If you are not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this with someone who might be able to contribute.

Thanks for your support,

Rosie Fitz
