Support the LSFM
The market makes a fun way to support your local community, get to know your neighbors and Chicagoans who share a similar passion, and get involved in the local food system. By supporting the Logan Square Farmers Market, you can demonstrate your commitment to local agriculture and sustainable food systems while reaching thousands of Chicagoans!
The Logan Square Farmers Market is organized by the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit with three primary goals:
1. Build an alternative food system
2. Foster entrepreneurship
3. Build community
Since 2016, the market has been highlighted by the New York Times, CBS News, USA Today and named Best Farmers Market in Chicago by Chicago Magazine and the Chicago Reader (for the 7th year in a row). The LSFM is entering its 16th season in operation.
There are three ways to support the market:
On-Site Volunteers play a critical role in the support and success of our farmers market!
Volunteers on market day assist in the set up, customer service, counting visitors, site maintenance, take down, and other operations associated with running the market on market day.
Each shift is 2 to 2.5 hours.
Please signup for a shift on SignUpGenius below! Thank you!
On market day: Check-in at the Chamber Table at 3031 N. Rockwell.
If you are interested but unable to attend the market on market day, there may be other ways to volunteer to support the market. Contact email@example.com with a letter of interest, and we will get back to you if we are able to offer additional volunteer opportunities.
The LSFM is currently seeking sponsors to support increased operational costs this season. Review our sponsorship deck below.
For over 15 years, the Logan Square Farmers Market has been your connection to fresh foods from local farmers and producers. Last week, we announced the opening of our 2020-21 Indoor Season, kicking off this Sunday, November 1st. This is exciting news however this market season will be our most challenging yet and we need your help.
For the first two months, our focus is our community of farmers who rely on their direct sales at markets. In order to produce the market comfortably and safely for all, we rolled out a new list of guidelines. Additional safety measures have increased our operational costs while our income has plummeted. We are asking you to make a donation to sustain the market for another year.
This time has shown how our survival is dependent on the strength of our local food system. Your donation will allow us to see another year of gracing the boulevards with fresh, local food and sustaining the livelihood of farmers. If you are not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this with someone who might be able to contribute.
Thanks for your support,
